- Right-click the zip and pick Extract All. The game won't run from inside the zip.
- Open the extracted folder and run PunchDown.exe.
- If a blue "protected your PC" box pops up, click More info, then Run anyway. The test build isn't signed yet.
- Enter your tester password when the game asks for it.
- Extract the zip (right-click → Extract Here, or
unzipit). Keep the whole folder together. - Open the folder and run PunchDown.x86_64. From a terminal:
./PunchDown.x86_64 - If it won't start, make it runnable first:
chmod +x PunchDown.x86_64. On a Steam Deck, do this in Desktop Mode. - Enter your tester password when the game asks for it.
What the test build sends us: your sign-ins, how long you play, every mission you start and finish, the
actions you take in the game, errors, and basic system info (OS, CPU, graphics card, memory, screen size). We use it
to find bugs and replay the exact spot where something went wrong. It doesn't read anything outside the game.
Your password is tied to you, so please don't share it or the download.
